Warradarge Wind Farm Community Grants
The 2025 grant applications will open in June 2025 (opening and closing dates to be confirmed)
At Bright Energy Investments, we’re passionate about fostering positive change in the communities we serve. Now in its sixth year, our community investments have provided over $100,000 to support community initiatives. We’re proud to have funded a diverse range of local projects and events in the Shires of Coorow, Carnamah and surrounding areas.

2024 Warradarge Wind Farm Community Grant Recipients:
In 2024 we awarded grants to the following local not-for-profit organisations:
Coorow Primary School P&C – for upgrades to the school library.
Leeman & Green Head Community Resource Centre – to provide new shelving and storage solutions for the Trash to Treasure donations initiative.
Leeman Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade – to purchase a collar dam inflating water storage and pump.
Leeman Country & Sporting Club – for solar panels to improve energy efficiency and sustainability.
Ag Connect WA and North Midlands Agricultural Society – to support the Carnamah Big Tractor launch and community country carnival.
Green Head Coastcare Group – for an interpretative osprey nest sign in Morphett Park, Green Head.

Carnamah Coorow Basketball Association: Purchase of height adjustable backboards for the Basketball court.
Eneabba P&C: School playground equipment for Eneabba Primary School.
St Johns Ambulance Leeman & Green Head Sub-Centre: Purchase of high-pressure washers to clean ambulances.
Green Head Community Association: Purchase of shade sails for the Community Hall playground.
Warradarge Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade: Contribution towards the purchase of 200,000 litre water storage tank.

Coorow Primary School P&C Association: To support an upgrade to the library at Coorow Primary School.
Green Head Sporting Club: Building upgrade to the community sporting club.
Green Head Community Association (Town Team Group): Commercial BBQ to support community event.
North Midlands Project: Computers for senior workshops and coding.

indoor/outdoor cinema projector to create social events for the community.Coorow Waddy CWA: Ride on mower to create a more usable and safe space for the community.
Coorow Playgroup: Kinder Gym equipment to cater for growing families.
